About COPAR

We engage with the stakeholders to discuss, exchange ideas, create and evaluate the educational materials (including video clips, online materials, games) We co-create activities that promote COVID-19 prevention and enhance good infection control practices.
We integrate stakeholders’ view into the contents of the interventions. We ensure different communities in the society are engaged, so that the content and format are suitable for the needs of different cultures and communities with different health conditions.

Study 1: Assistance, Improvement, Development (AID): A community-based participatory research approach promoting the early detection of, and vaccination against, COVID-19 and enhancing the adoption of self-protective measures in HK

Study 2: Digital Health Literacy on COVID-19 for All: Co-creation and evaluation of interventions for ethnic minorities and Chinese people with chronic illnesses in Hong Kong

Study 4: AI-driven Vaccine Communicator: The impact of a Web-based psychoeducation programme with a motivational AI-based digital assistant on Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy in Hong Kong’s population

Study 5: An educational intervention using a virtual reality game to improve compliance with COVID-19-related hygiene practices and participation in SARS-CoV-2 screening, for the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 transmission between primary schoolchildren in communities: a large-scale stratified RCT
